Synopsis

  • This interactive map provides links to state-level Climate Assessment Summaries for each state and territory in the United States, providing historical climate data, context for that data, and temperature change projections.
  • Students will learn that many states are seeing an increase in extreme weather events, sea level rise is threatening coastal areas across the country, and greenhouse gas emissions will have a huge impact on future annual temperatures.
  • This report was updated in 2022 to provide additional and more specific information for each state, as the National Climate Assessments only provide regional information.
